Welcome to my journal...

This is my un-edited journal with currently views on the afterlife which I am very intrigued by, my day to day gripes, book reviews, recipe try outs, jewellery hobby and lastly information on my retail shop and its highs and lows.
Anyone welcome to give comments, try recipes and general opinions - I am the worlds worst waffler so I hope it doesn't bore anyone to death...

Recipes for people in a rush

I like to have a little cook for the family but as I'm always rushing I don't have time to do cordon bleu and generally slave over a hot stove for hours, couldn't think of anything worse! Anyway once I've cooked it nine times out of ten I don't eat it as I'm sick of looking at it cooking in the pan.
I shall add recipes here and there to see if anyones interested in actually bothering to cook any of them and I'm also thinking its handy to put my recipes on here rather than scraps of paper - now I'll know where I can find them!

SAUSAGES & PASTA
So pleased I found an old recipe card from about 15years ago that I've been looking for all over the net and house for so long. This recipe is so simple and so yum that I will post it on here for others to try. It has never gone wrong for me and I am rubbish at cooking.
Hang on this isn't the card from 15 years ago its a new recipe but its still super easy - not as herby as the other recipe I'll have to keep searching for that.
You will need 1 carton chopped tomatoes
1 clove garlic chopped fine
Courgettes 1 or 2 or 3 whatever
fresh thyme, penne pasta or spaghetti and a pack of sausages (use Lincolnshire ones)
Cook sausages and cut them up small
In the pan add the tomatoes, garlic, sprinkling of thyme and peel ribbons of courgettes and put those in too. Let this simmer for 10-15 mins and whilst thats happening cook the penne in a seperate pan.
Add cooked penne to sausage pan swish it all about and its done!
Easy see what you think!
**Actually you could add loads of other veg to this and some chilli paprika to liven it up a bit.
